Driving Tour around Sydney

My husband’s company organizes a tour of Sydney for us.  A very nice lady Leigh drives us around all day and gives us the lay of the land.  Starting to get a feel for how it’s laid out:  there’s the CBD (Central Business District) in downtown Sydney, where we are, and then lots and lots of small suburbs surround it, which all have their distinct personalities.  It’s similar to New York where you pay up to be close to the city but give up space and land.  Dissimilar to New York in that not too many people actually live in the CBD.  (Which explains the sad lack of playgrounds, family-friendly restaurants, sidewalk flower shops, and nail salons.)

Pit-stop at a playground.
