Wildlife World Redux

We circle back to Wildlife World today.  On the way Julia and Graham stop on the docks to chase seagulls (mostly Graham).  While I don't usually encourage this practice, I'm sort of proud of Graham that he's gotten his bird courage back and fancy it's a bit cathartic after Attack of the "Sharp Birds" (see June 16).  He was skittish of birds for a while after that.  Also, it seems to spring from the Y chromosome at this developmental stage, as I've seen many a boy Graham's height (this day included) doing just the same thing, so what can you do.

He likes to do a kind of modified Superhero/kung-fu move on the birds as part of his bird-chasing technique.

This would be the last photo with Graham's Batman sunglasses.  Within ten minutes, we were in Wildlife World and he had no idea what he'd done with them.  No idea.

Apparently 12 of the top 30 most venomous snakes in the world are located in Australia.  They seem sort of proud of it.  I'm just waiting for my Hunter boots to arrive in my shipped things so I can wear them at all times.  (It's the Inland taipan, in case you were wondering.)

Dude.

Julia asked me to take a picture of her in front of this.  So I did.

Not sure if this photo conveys the immensity of this animal, but let's just say you would not want to run into this guy while paddling around in the swamps of Australia, if you were thinking of doing that sort of thing.

Sorry, could not resist.
