At breakfast, Julia unconsciously says, “Mommy, I’m almost done with brekky.” Ha!
"Seriously Mom, photos first thing in the morning???"

Dial-a-Sarah
Our previous Dial-an-Angel sitter Sarah says she’s available off the record for half the DAA price. Score!! I suppose I shoulda tried that long ago! She comes to care for the children, and Mommy gets a little long-awaited Me Time.
Shopping at David Jones – ah, this is where I should’ve come to shop. Such a breath of fresh air. I guess it’s their version of Bergdorf. A far cry, but to a homesick New Yorker it gave me a comforting sense of home.
Nothing says trying-too-hard-to-be-fancy like a grand piano in the makeup department. |
Oxford Street - Then I get a couple of hours shopping in the Oxford Street area, which had been recommended to me several times. Nice, but it’s no SoHo (who it was trying to be it seemed) (yes apparently I've turned into a New York snob). I did pick up a few cute things. Not sure if I’m buying because I love or because it’s the best of what I’m finding, my shopping computer is all off!
Did not actually purchase anything here. |
