We head to the Australian Museum all day (Sydney's Museum of Natural History). Some good activities going on for the school holiday.
There's a puppet show about aboriginal spiritual folk tales. Julia strains to get chosen as a volunteer, and the narrator/presenter picks three out of three boys. Assuming that was just a fluke and not some kind of sexism going on. Could not imagine that happening in America or someone would quickly get a lawyer involved.

Then there’s a science workshop on flight for 5-8 yr olds that Julia had seem interested in. We talked to the guide about it and he described it to her – you learn about how different animals fly, insects, birds, dinosaurs and so on and how they evolved this ability. “Yeah!” Julia exclaimed, “That sounds good!!” I have to confess, I love that she's a science nerd like me. :)
Graham found ways to occupy himself during Julia's class.
